Cartridge Help

Storage

Keep cartridges in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Store in original packaging until use. Avoid freezing or exposing cartridges to heat above 30°C.

Handling

Handle cartridges carefully to avoid damage. Avoid touching the copper contacts or nozzles. Remove cartridges from the printer only when necessary and store them properly.

Troubleshoot Cartridge Recognition

  1. Remove all protective packaging, including clips, red tags, and the blue tape covering the nozzle. Any remaining tape on the nozzle may cause a "cartridge not recognised" error.
  2. Reinstall the cartridge up to three times to determine if the printer properly recognizes it.
  3. Gently clean the cartridge chip using kitchen paper. If necessary, use a cleaning solution or eraser to remove any residual ink.
  4. Clean the printer’s cartridge slot to eliminate dust or debris that could interfere with cartridge recognition.
  5. Perform a hard reset of the printer with the cartridges installed: unplug the printer from the power source, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in.

Important Notice about Ink Levels

Please note: Our compatible ink cartridges may display inaccurate ink levels, often showing as very low or empty, because it is not possible to reset the ink level indicators to reflect the actual ink volume inside the cartridge. Although your printer may notify you that the ink is low when printing, this warning does not indicate the true ink status. You can safely disregard these alerts and continue printing until the cartridge is completely depleted on the page.
